Postcards from the Middle

This body of work was created with the Kansas City Society for Contemporary Photography & the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. These pieces are a response from their exhibit Strange and Unfamiliar Places. We were asked to create images that reflected our point of view from this particular moment in time. My images are a response to motherhood, creativity, and renewal to my daily life in spring of 2025. Separate images are pieced together with traditional quilt block shapes as a way of bringing the two separate subjects together.
